Pina Colada

The drink that Garth Brooks helped put on the current pop-culture map is the official beverage of Puerto Rico (and the official beverage of choice for many)! And with good reason too. There is something just oh-so refreshing about light rum, coconut cream, and pineapple juice blended with ice or shaken and strained and garnished with a pineapple wedge, Maraschino cherry, or both. Whip up a recipe for the tropical Piña Colada and you’re as good as relaxing in a hammock with the ocean breeze in your hair. Who could blame Mr. Brooks for wanting “one for each hand”?
