Deviled eggs

Devilishly good and a preferred cocktail party food, deviled eggs get their name from the spicy flavorings such as mustard, paprika, and onion. To make a deviled egg recipe, make hard boil eggs, let them cool and slice them in half, removing the yolks. Mash the yolks in a bowl and combine with mayonnaise, mustard and any number of other flavorings such as horseradish, olives, capers, hot sauce, or smoked salmon. Then spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves and sprinkle with paprika or minced parsley. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
