The Liberty Hotel, Boston

05.29.2008
For 120 years The Liberty Hotel was considered one of the best examples of mid-19th century architecture and housed some of Boston’s most notorious criminals. Today the iconic architecture remains; but the prisoners are long gone, replaced by discerning travelers who appreciate the innovative design and attention to authenticity as it collides with luxury. Located in the heart of Beacon Hill, the hotel also contains the swank bar and lounge, Alibi, which features pictures of famous people who have been incarcerated.
