Ramadan

During the Muslim holiday of Ramadan, which lasts a month, observers do not eat or drink between sunrise and sunset. At sunset it is common to break the fast by eating dates and also eggs. In Morocco, lentil soup called harira is also a popular choice for breaking the fast. Before the break of dawn another meal is eaten called sahuur.
