We’re not the first to discover that food often tastes better when eaten outside. In fact, picnics likely evolved from medieval hunting feasts, Renaissance-era banquets, and Victorian garden parties. For a romantic picnic, think French and bring a selection of cheese, bread, fruit and wine.
