Fruit Salad

Some version of fruit salad is always in style, from ambrosia to Waldorf salad, fruit and gelatin salad, or watermelon and feta salad. Almost any fruit can be combined and made into salad with the possible exception of banana, because it is too delicate and tends to turn brown. Adding pomegranate seeds or fresh berries can add sparkle and brightness to citrus, persimmon, or apple salads.
