Chicken

All over the land families are asking, “What’s for dinner?” and the answer is probably chicken. Relatively inexpensive, high in protein, and generally low in fat and incredibly versatile, chicken is popular for good reason. Be sure to store raw chicken in the coldest part of your refrigerator and use it within two days. A whole raw chicken can be stored in the freezer for up to one year and pieces of chicken for nine months. When cooking chicken, make sure its center reaches 160 degrees.
