Cat Cora

Cat Cora is of Greek descent but has deep Southern roots having grown up in Mississippi. Her cooking style is generally influenced by the flavors and styles of the Mediterranean. An accomplished restaurant chef, she is president and founder of Chefs for Humanity, an organization founded in response to the 2004 tsunami disaster and is known for being the first woman chef on Iron Chef America. Her books include Cat Cora’s Kitchen, and Cooking from the Hip.
