Asian

For most Americans, Asian food used to mean Chinese, but these days you can find Thai, Japanese, and Vietnamese food in just about every major city in the U.S. To find authentic ingredients, seek out ethnic markets in your community or online. You'll be surprised at the variety of bottled sauces, spices, and fresh herbs and produce; don't be afraid to try something new. Even Western chefs are using Asian ingredients to add variety to their culinary repertoires.
