I do adore Marc Jacobs quite passionately, so I feel ok criticizing the occasional MJ purse as warranted. Here we go with the designer’s Graffiti Standard Supply Tote, part of the Marc by Marc Jacobs collection. There’s a lot going on with this roomy bag, some good and some bag. The good news is that it’s exceptionally spacious, so it’s great to carry on weekend getaways or a long day when you need a little extra room for a heavy load. The bad, though, outweighs the bag’s functional soundness. It’s essentially gone graffiti-wild, covered with everything from skulls to little phrases, such as “Who Did You Judge?” At $148, it’s somewhat easy on the bank account but isn’t worth anything close to that. Available at Saks Fifth Avenue.
