Florida governor Charlie Crist, a potential Vice Presidential candidate for Republican John McCain, is engaged to Carole Rome after an intense and brief courtship.

Charlie Crists girlfriend is a 1992 honors graduate of Georgetown University who became president of her familys century-old Halloween business in 2000 after her father passed away. She added a line of sexy? Halloween costumes to Franco American Novelty Co. LLCs goods and works with her mother and sister.
She has been a resident of Miami Florida since 2006. *Charlie* Crist has been a bachelor about town since his brief( 1979-1980 ) marriage ended.

Her future hubby is also rumored to be on the short list of Sen. John McCain’s VP candidates, and some are viewing this engagement with a bit of scepticism. The radical left wing nuts are convinced that the Governor is gay, and this is just a cover up.

The engagement does seem very quick for a man that hasn’t been married for nearly 30 years and even then not very successfully.

Is Crist gay? I personally don’t care but red flags to go up when something out of character happens during an election cycle, especially when that person is being mentioned for the Presidency or Vice Presidency.

Christina Applegate’s boyfriend Lee Grivas was found dead in his Hollywood apartment on July 1st by a neighbor. Applegate and Grivas had dated on and off for several years. They had been together this time since April.

“Applegate and Grivas, a 26-year-old skateboarder and photographer, had a rocky on-again, off-again relationship due to his continual battle with drugs and alcohol,” according to the Enquirer. “But the couple had decided to give it one last shot this past April when Grivas made another attempt at getting clean.”

Apparently, Grivas had a history of drug problems dating back to his teens. Applegate broke up with him a number of times because of his struggles with getting clean.

Applegate is extremely saddened and had this to say to US Magazine.

“I am profoundly saddened,” Applegate said in a statement to Usmagazine.com. “Lee was an incredible human being who was an extremely important and beautiful part of my life.

Christina rose to fame as the buxom, blonde teen on ‘Married With Children.’ Her career has caught a second wind last year as the star of ‘Samantha Who.’

This is another sad blow to Christina. She has had a successful but rough life of up and downs. Our prayers are thoughts are with her during this hard time.

Coldplay sold enough albums over the past week to remain atop the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. The top three albums on the chart remained the same as Coldplay was followed by Lil Wayne and the Camp Rock soundtrack. Motley Crue debuted their new album ‘Saints of Los Angeles’ at #4. Other new albums on the chart included ‘Last 2 Walk ‘ by Three 6 Mafia and Shinedown’s ‘The Sound of Madness’.

Susan Olsen, who played Cindy Brady on the timeless ‘Brady Bunch’ television show in the 70’s, was so hungover and drunk at a radio interview this morning that she had to excuse herself to go puke after just two minutes on the air.

Susan Olsen showed up to the Darren and Coba radio show in Jet 107.9 Colorado with a killer hangover — and was only able to stick around for about two minutes before she had go blow chunks.

The kicker — Susan’s 12-year-old son was there, and told the audience to “watch her drink like a pig” tonight at a local bar.

Isn’t Olsen (a 46-years old mother) a bit old to be getting so smashed that she can’t function the next day?
