You may well be thinking "Why on Earth would someone own 'unused' Beatles tickets? There needs to be a bloody good reason not to go see 'em!" Well, I'm with you... but on closer inspection of this auction, for two original unused pair of Beatles tickets from August 29, 1965 (Hollywood Bowl gig), you'll find a slightly depressing tale.

These tickets have been stored in a plastic sleeve in my safe deposit box for more than 38 years and are mint and, accompanying the lot is "the envelope of the registered letter from Royal Crown Cola informing me that I won the tickets... the date when the letter was delivered was AFTER the date of the concert." Gutted. Really, really gutted.

Renault have kindly given Oxfam some of their most exciting memorabilia, including racing garments worn by their drivers and exclusive car parts used in various Renault F1 cars during F1 World Championships. All items come with a certificate of authenticity straight from Renault themselves. The 10 day auction will run from Thursday 26th June 2008 to Sunday 6th July 2008. 100% of the proceeds go to funding Oxfams work to overcome poverty and suffering in Brazil.

The seller for this strange auction begins by yelling "THERE IS A GHOST TRAPPED IN THIS PAPER CLIP!!!!!!!! AND I CANT GET IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU BUY THIS DON'T TRUST THE GHOST!!!!! SERIOUSLY GUYS HE'S CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! HE'LL RIPP YOUR FACE OFF WHEN YOUR NOT PAYING ATTENTION!!!!!"

So you'd be made to buy it wouldn't you?

They then add; "I trapped him by throwing the clip into the trail of endoplasmic slime that was trailing behind him, i ment to destract him but instead i captured him! GO GHOST BUSTERS!!!!"

The seller for this weird little auction says; "I'm auctioning off the naming rights for my kitten, it is 5-6 weeks old, white, brown and black.  if u want more pictures, information, or a picture of the mother please ask.  i don't know if its male or female, i will post an update when i find out."[sic]

Amusingly, the seller then adds; "must not be a swear or anything rude, if the winners chosen name is anything i cant call it with kids in the room, i will ask for another name the winner will not be sent anything"

Now here's something that won't crop up on eBay often! It's a handwritten original poem from the hand of Jim Morrison (from The Doors if you need reminding).

The poem is thought to be the poem entitled 'Actors' and published in the Wilderness volume, however this version differs drastically from the original that Jim wrote.

This was originally acquired from an employee at the Whiskey a Go-Go "some 38 plus years ago" according to the vendor. You might want to check out the credentials before stumping up the cash, but if it's the real deal, it's a marvelous piece of rock 'n' roll history.
