I just listened to a very informative webinar about breast reconstruction after breast cancer. Being that it is Breast Cancer Awareness month and that I am highlighting so many “pink products” that will benefit breast cancer charities, I though it were equally important to share this webinar with you.

Andrea Pusic, MD, addressed patient satisfaction and the latest and greatest in breast reconstruction techniques, including fat transfer and stem cell research.
Amy Alderman, MD, discussed the challenges facing Latina patients, and how age, income brackets and physical condition play a part in access to reconstruction.
