Vera Wang Double Zip Satchel Handbag
I have always been a fan of Vera Wang’s wedding dresses, and I hope that the day I get married I’m wearing a gorgeous Vera Wang ball gown. When I heard Kohls was going to start carrying Vera Wang handbags I was intrigued, but when I went to go see them at Kohls in person I was in a state of shock of how plain and tacky they looks. Nothing about the handbags screamed Vera Wang, who has always been known for her elegance and spohisticated style. Recently, I won a a Kohls gift card through a contest right here on bagbliss, so I decided to take a tripo to Kohls this weekend. While on the search for jeans, I passed by this really cute bag in the handbag department. As I looked at the tag to my surprise it said the designer was none other than Vera Wang! The handbag I am talking about that I saw was the Vera Wang Double Zip Satchel. From the handbags I saw before in her line, this handbag was a HUGE improvement. What caught my eye the most was the satchel style and the patent leather. I thought this handbag was a very cute handbag at a great price. It conviently had a compartment and inner pockets inside to keep my essentials organized and has a double zip closure to be sure my belongings are secure inside. The handbag is made of faux patent leather, but for the price who could go wrong?

The Vera Wang Double Zip Satchel is regularly priced at $89, but is currently on sale at Kohls for $62.30. For a cute, stylish bag, the price is really not that bad. If I wasn’t saving for a certain handbag that I’m trying to get before my trip to New York, I would definitely snatch this one up before it’s too late.

Joe’s Jeans. First thought that comes to mind is that it’s a denim jean company. Well, didn’t ya know? Joe’s Jeans designs not only denims, but handbags as well. These handbags are competitively priced too. This basic Flat Tote, which is spacious enough for anything and everything (you can even use it as a picnic basket) can be found over at REVOLVE clothing for $395.

Thoughts? Would you spend that much on purse by Joe’s? Or would you rather buy a couple pairs of their fabulous denims?

Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Etoile Shopper
Some time ago we saw pictures of a quilted Louis Vuitton handbag that was coming out for the Fall 2008 handbag season, but we didn’t know much information about it. The handbag now has a name and it’s called the Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Etoile Shopper. The Monogram Etoile Shopper gives a different spin on the Mongram Canvas but I must say it’s quite fabulous, in my opinion of course. The Etoile Shopper is made with quilted Monogram Canvas, something I have never seen on a Louis Vuitton handbag before but I could be wrong. I absolutely love the quilted leather because it’s very different than the modern day Monogram Canvas handbag you see on every women at the mall. The bag is complete with buckled bands and a twist lock closure, which make the handbag even more fabulous, well at least in my eyes.

The Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Etoile Shopper is a beautiful, great, roomy handbag but comes with an awful price. The handbag is priced at $3,500, which is pretty absurd for a Monogram Canvas handbag to me. I would expect the handbag to have some type of exotic leather for it to cost that much, but I guess that’s Louis Vuitton for you.
